Recently La Tarterie has shifted its focus on handcrafted luxury chocolates with natural fillings. We are working on a new website to reflect this change and we will keep you updated on the process.
Sandra has always had a passion for food, but most of all for cakes, tarts and pastries and chocolates. Creating delicious desserts, decorating cakes, experimenting with recipes and flavours was her favourite thing to do whenever time allowed.
When she realized that this is more than just a hobby, she enrolled in a professional pastry program at Maison Christian Faure in Montreal, which gave her all the necessary skills to found La Tarterie.
For us, the most exciting thing about confiserie is seeing people's smile when they take their first bite of our delicious tarts.
This is why we love what we do!
While making you smile is our main goal, we are trying to do so in a responsible way, by using high quality ingredients and whenever possible we use local products.
For our artisanal and hand-painted chocolates we only use cacao barry and callebaut chocolate.
